About

Cheyenne Goudswaard (1996) is a filmmaker and illustrator from the Netherlands. In her work, she examines the essence of being human, exploring how and why we shape our lives the way we do. She enjoys experimenting with the fine line between beauty and discomfort. Her work can be described as both humorous yet intimate and gentle.

She graduated with a Master's degree in Animation from MIVC St. Joost School of Art & Design in 2023. Her short film 'Ik Ben Hier' (I Am Here) is selected at film festivals worldwide, and recently won the Best Animated Film Award at the Sehsüchte Film Festival in Germany. In 2024, Cheyenne was selected for Playgrounds' NEXT talent program to further develop her future projects.
